A weekend in Sag Harbor, NY

Dear Diary,

So I flew from San Francisco’s lovely airport to the bussiling JFK airport for an extended forth of July weekend. I mostly worked of course… But that’s not what this post is about. No one likes reading about the nitty gritty work that goes on behind the scenes! So here will be a recap of the lovely fun I had in New York’s quaint Sag Harbor!
In Sag Harbor the thing to do is shop and eat. So I ate at cafes, drank home brewed iced coffee and browsed the shops. My favorite place to go is the bookstore on Main Street! Oh did I love that they had cats to play with. They were extremely lazy and I loved it.

For transport, I had to rent a car to get to and from JFK. The train was an option but wih my bags, I wanted a little luxury.

I said I wasn’t going to talk about work but… How about some pictures? Here I am in my day uniform and here is my breakfast table. Set by muah! I love using yellow in the mornings for that homely feel. It’s hard to always get good photos while at work but I’ll share when I can!

We had great fireworks over the weekend and I got to enjoy after my evening shift. It wasn’t the most enjoyable weekend because of work but good thing I had a friend in the marina next door. They baked the most delicious fresh sourdough bread that I got to take back to San Francisco ♥️
It was a wonderful weekend with long hours! Now to get back to my man!
